You'll see these reactions on the pad application area. This is not a serious reaction, and is completely harmless.
👉 O bviously, don't reapply the TENS excessively to the same area between uses if your skin remains irritated.

Less common: allergic reactions
If you notice an allergic reaction, stop using the TENS immediately. It may be linked to the gel pads or the electrical voltage.

Efficacy of TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Neurostimulation) technology in the treatment of dysmenorrhea
A 2019 Cochrane review assessed the efficacy of high- and low-frequency TENS technology for the relief of menstrual pain. The results suggest that TENS may reduce pain compared with placebo or no treatment.

Use of TENS in the management of endometriosis
A guide published in February 2024 by Subli-med.fr indicates that TENS can relieve pain caused by endometriosis by acting on pain mechanisms, notably via "Gate Control" and endorphin stimulation. It may also have an anti-inflammatory action through stimulation of the posterior tibial nerve.
